City Snow was written as I sat looking out of my window in London. It was inspired by the reasonably heavy snowfall all around that made everything in London seemingly come to a stop. I found it calming how such a modern and busy city could be so easily affected by an afternoon of snow. City Snow shows the beauty and delicateness of the snow amid such a busy and manic environment. It is written for two classical guitars, accordion and claves. |
